Business Declares Kx: The Green Handprint at Work - How To Be An Employee Activist For Sustainability

Our future is being dismantled in real time - climate collapse, ecological breakdown, and social injustice - and, at the heart of it all, is Business As Usual. Employees are increasingly becoming aware that the organisations for whom they work, and the daily tasks they perform, are perpetuating the systemic problem, as opposed to the solution.

The Green Handprint at Work is a play book for employees who want to commence/build on their own journey of “business activism”, exert greater influence in the workplace to effect bolder and more meaningful change, and create a positive impact at their workplace, as organisations grapple with the consequences of the polycrisis.

We at Business Declares are delighted to support this book, which blends conceptual thinking with practical guidance and actions: from taking the first steps on a business’ activism journey, through to how to sustain an activism movement and remain resilient and hopeful. Throughout the book, there are many supporting illustrative case studies.

We recommend this book to all those in the workplace who want to develop a greater focus on “business activism”.

If you don’t know where to start or, if already embarked on the journey, need further support and advice - join our Knowledge Xchange to learn more about this work. This session will be chaired by Ben Tolhurst with time for Q&A.

The book can be pre-ordered, and there will be a 50% discount code shared with attendees during the event, and with Business Declares members.
