Due to the overwhelming interest we are receiving from potential new members, we will be running the first in a series of 1 hour open online sessions to help answer all your questions.

We will explain our work, how our members collaborate and support each other and the steps to joining us. There will be plenty of chance to ask any questions that you may have. Led by Samantha Cooper, Jack Taylor and Paul Coverdale.

Business Declares is a not-for-profit organisation formed by senior leaders with a vast range of experience from the SME, B Corp and FTSE100 sectors who believe that business has a major part to play in tackling the climate, ecological and social emergency.

Our work includes:

• raising awareness across the business sector of the imperative to accelerate action to address climate change, biodiversity loss and social injustice: the imperative to future proof every business by balancing profits with people and ethics, to live within planetary boundaries.

• galvanising the voice from the business community advocating for regulatory change, to build a resounding voice from business to propel a greater political will for urgent action.

• convening dialogues, acting as an agitator and critical business friend, to explore the difficult challenges which we know will take collective effort to solve.

• celebrating all companies who declare, inspiring others with examples of those taking action

• engaging business leaders who want to add their voice to our resounding, collective call for change.

• collaborating with other climate initiatives to ensure our work is additive, maximises reach and effects real change, this includes our official partnership with the UN COP26 Race to Zero campaign which includes all our member businesses.
