We are partnering with the Next Economies Summit 2025, on 12-14 September 2025 in Istanbul, organised by the Prosumer Economy Society and Kadir Has University Center for Energy and Sustainable Development (CESD). The summit will bring together social movements, networks, organisations, innovative business models, global leaders, investors, social entrepreneurs, and policymakers working for economic transformation; and aims to accelerate the transition to sustainable and fair economies.Going beyond idea-sharing, the summit aims to foster collective action for systemic change.
This important gathering seeks to create an inspiring space for all who wish to contribute to a fairer, more sustainable, and co-designed economic future.
This year’s theme is on “United Next Economies” - it’s time to redesign economic systems to tackle climate, biodiversity and social crisis - are you ready to strengthen global collaboration with concrete solutions and innovative business models?
The summit will host some of the world’s leading voices in economic transformation. Prominent speakers include:
Katherine Trebeck, co-founder of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll) and member of the Club of Rome;
Amitabh Behar, Executive Director of Oxfam International;
Ashish Kothari, co-founder of Vikalp Sangam and the Global Tapestry of Alternatives;
Mads Christensen, Executive Director of Greenpeace International; and
Simel Eşim, Head of the Social and Solidarity Economy Unti at the ILO and Chair of the UN Inter-Agency Task Force on SSE (UNTFSSE).
