March 8th 2021 was International Women’s Day. The ‘theme’ or focus of the UN’s message this year was “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world,”. Business Declares and Real Sustainability passionately advocate for a fairer, greener and more equal future. The substantial inequality that exists in the world today is concerning and even with the presence of women business leaders growing there is much to do. Only 2% of FTSE 250 leaders and 37 of the Fortune 500 leaders identify as women in 2020.

In collaboration with our valued member Real Sustainability, we collated and shared images of just some of the incredible women leading the way to a more just and sustainable future.
