We at Renewable Connections would like to publicly declare that there is a climate, ecological and social emergency. The challenges we face are unprecedented and demand immediate action from every sector of society. As part of our commitment to a sustainable future, we are proud to join Business Declares. By aligning ourselves with this vital movement, we aim to take concrete steps towards addressing these pressing issues and inspire other organizations to follow suit. Together, we can drive the change necessary to protect our planet and ensure a just and equitable world for all.
We publicly declare there is a climate, ecological and social emergency and we are joining Business Declares.
We have set a net zero target of 2030, covering Scope 1 & 2 to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
We endeavor to reduce Scope 3 impacts of our business, creating and implementing a strategy and plan for mitigating these, to achieve Scope 3 net zero as close as possible to 2030 and before 2050.
We will consider and implement a strategy for how our business will address the biodiversity/ecological crisis as part of its broader declaration and action.
We will Create, publish and implement a Climate Action Plan explaining what actions will be taken toward achieving net zero targets and biodiversity improvements, and publish progress annually.
We will support Business Declares’ advocacy efforts, by engaging with Business Declares’ network.
